Aniparo Healing Arts
Algirdas Lisaius, Master Healer

Our name comes from the phrase “Ani Joe Parobi” (“Great River of Light”) in the language of the indigenous Shipibo tribe of Peru, the great masters of Amazonian plant medicine. It describes the ancient and powerful energies of the teacher plant spirits that guide our way at Aniparo Healing Arts.

A vision of this River of Light was bestowed upon Algirdas by Noya Rao, the Amazonian Tree of Life and master teaching plant, during sacred ceremony in the Peruvian jungle. She called upon him to use this name and power in his healing practice.

Algirdas is a Curandero - a Medicine Man. He does not call himself a shaman, a name only fitting of the legendary masters of long past times.

Nevertheless, Algirdas has mastery of many shamanic healing practices and over 40 years of experience in the healing arts. He uses these gifts to fulfill his life’s purpose: to be in service to others and be a portal for the healing energy of plant spirits.

Algirdas’s teacher, Shipibo maestro don Enrique Lopez, gave him the Shipibo name Seńen Sina, meaning in the maestro’s words: “one with connection to the plant spirits equal to the masters”.
